Zinccorp Resources Inc. is a newly formed, tightly held junior mineral exploration company that is focussing on discovery of large zinc-rich deposits. It is about to complete a transaction that will give it 100% ownership of four highly prospective zinc properties in Yukon Territory.
Two of the prospects (Kit and Michelle) lie within a belt of rocks that is believed to have once been the direct extension of one of the world’s greatest zinc districts. The other two prospects (Bar and Convert) are hosted in units that are comparable in age and lithology to those hosting rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits elsewhere in Yukon.
All four of the prospects contain metals other than zinc, that could be important coproducts or byproducts of potential mines.
