Zinccorp Resources Inc. is a newly formed, tightly held junior mineral exploration company focused on the discovery of large zinc-rich deposits.  It currently has 100% ownership of four highly prospective zinc properties in Yukon Territory, including the the Michelle Property, home to Zinccorp’s most recent zinc-lead-silver discovery.

Both the Kit and the Michelle properties lie within a belt of rocks that is believed to have once been the direct extension of one of the world’s greatest zinc districts. Two additional prospects, the Bar and the Convert, are hosted in units that are comparable in age and lithology to those hosting rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits elsewhere in Yukon. Exploration has revealed a highly mineralized zone on the Michelle property.  Drilling is ongoing and an application to build a road to the property will be submitted, pending continued positive results.

While zinc-rich deposits continue to be the focus for the company, its expanded exploration program extends into the prolific Timmins/Larder Lake Mining camp in Ontario, adding a new dimension to the exploration portfolio.
