Zinccorp Resources Inc. is a newly formed, tightly held junior mineral exploration company focussed on the discovery of large zinc-rich deposits.  It currently has 100% ownership of four highly prospective zinc properties in Yukon Territory, including the the Michelle, home to Zinccorp’s most recent zinc-lead-silver discovery.

Both the Kit and the Michelle properties lie within a belt of rocks that is believed to have once been the direct extension of one of the world’s greatest zinc districts. The other two prospects, the Bar and the Convert, are hosted in units that are comparable in age and lithology to those hosting rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits elsewhere in Yukon. Exploration and in 2007 revealed a highly mineralized zone on the Michelle property.  Drilling is ongoing and an application to build a road to the property is being prepared, pending continued positive results.
