Location: 35km Southwest of Timmins, Ontario.
Size: 1392 ha (8 claims, 87 units)
Target Minerals: Gold, Iron
  • Contiguous to the west of RT Minerals Corp current drilling program on their Golden property, which is contiguous to the southwest land holdings of Lake Shore Gold
  • Property occurs along or adjacent to what may be a splay off the prolific gold-bearing Destor Porcupine Fault Zone ('DPFZ').
 
 

Regional Exploration and Production

The Keefer property lies within the Porcupine Gold Camp, which has a cumulative historical gold production in excess of 67 million ounces and even today continues to grow as new mines come on stream.

This property lies approximately 500m west of RT Minerals Corp current drilling program on their Golden property, which is contiguous to the southwest land holdings of Lake Shore Gold. The property is directly contiguous to the east with Zinccorps Crest lake property.

Hollinger Mine operated in this area from 1910 until 1968. During that period 65,778,234 tons were milled, producing 19,327,691 ounces of gold, indicating an overall grade of 0.29. McIntyre mine operated from 1912 to 1988 there were 37,529,691 tons milled, producing 10,745,361 ounces of gold, an overall grade of 0.29 ounces per ton.
